CoCo Harris is thinker  whose work straddles the literary and visual arts. She is from Atlanta, GA and has a studio practice in the Upstate of South Carolina. Her current exploration of color, sculpture and abstraction yields culturally-revisionist narratives that fill in the blanks, reimagines --and is curative. Her 2D and 3D works yield conceptual works unearthing and adding new layers to untold narratives. 

Before life in the arts, Harris began her Intellectual Property law career working for the US Patent Office  after earning her degree in Electrical Engineering from Howard University. With expertise in biomedical devices, she later worked with a neuroscience corporation before running her own boutique patent law firm assisting inventors, corporations with national and international IP protections.

On the other side of her life --and brain-- she received her MFA in Fiction studying under esteemed mentors at Spalding in Louisville,KY. CoCo Harris is the Founding Editor/Publisher of Telling Our Stories Press —a literary imprint showcasing the art of short memoir.  She is the short film curator for Stowe Story Labs’ Short Film Channel; and as a comedy screenwriter, she churns scenarios from her life into TV sitcoms.
